These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Fieldframe ("Service"), operated by SIA Fieldframe, based in Ventspils, Latvia, European Union.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Fieldframe is a B2B tool intended for professional and semi-professional sports photographers. It is not intended for personal or consumer use.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@fieldframe.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without our written consent. One account per person or organisation.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Ownership: You retain full ownership of all photos and content you upload to Fieldframe. We claim no ownership over your images.
Licence to us: By uploading content, you grant Fieldframe a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, display (with watermarks where applicable), and deliver your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.
No marketing use: We will never use your photos in marketing materials, social media, or any public-facing context without your explicit written consent.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all content you upload. You warrant that you have all necessary rights, consents, and permissions to upload and share the content via the Service.
As a photographer using Fieldframe, you act as an independent data controller for any personal data contained in the photos you upload, including images of identifiable individuals.

Fieldframe acts as a data processor on your behalf. Our processing of your photo data is governed by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
What we process: When you upload photos and link a team roster to an event, Fieldframe may generate facial embeddings (numerical representations of faces) from those photos to assist with automatic photo identification. This constitutes biometric data under GDPR Article 9.
Your responsibility as data controller: By creating or editing an event with a linked roster, you confirm that:
How we store it: Facial embeddings are stored as anonymous numerical vectors linked only to a roster player name and jersey number. We do not perform facial recognition for any purpose beyond matching photos to the roster within the same account.
Deletion: Facial embeddings are deleted automatically when you delete the associated roster player, roster, or your account. You may also request targeted deletion at support@fieldframe.app.
No third-party sharing: Facial embeddings are never shared with, sold to, or accessible by any third party.
Free tier: The free tier is provided at no cost and includes 1 active event, up to 100 photos per event, a public gallery link, and smart number detection. Watermarks are always enabled on the free tier. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits at any time with reasonable notice.
Starter subscription: The Starter plan is available on a monthly (€9/month) or annual (€75/year) basis. Starter includes up to 5 events, up to 1,000 photos per event, watermark control, roster integration, and IPTC metadata embedding.
Pro subscription: The Pro plan is available on a monthly (€19/month) or annual (€150/year) basis. Pro includes unlimited events, up to 1,000 photos per event, watermark control, roster integration, and IPTC metadata embedding.
Billing: Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are in Euros and include any applicable VAT.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not receive a refund for the remaining period unless required by applicable law.
Refunds: We offer a 14-day refund on your first subscription payment if you are not satisfied. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
Price changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may perform scheduled or emergency maintenance that temporarily affects availability.
We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime, data loss due to infrastructure failure, or any interruption to the Service. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of original photo files.
All software, design, trademarks, and branding associated with Fieldframe are owned by or licensed to us. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you beyond the limited right to use the Service as described herein.
The "Fieldframe" name and logo are our trademarks. You may not use them without our prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fieldframe and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
By you: You may close your account at any time via account settings or by emailing support@fieldframe.app. Upon closure, your data will be deleted within 30 days (billing records retained as required by law).
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, use the Service unlawfully, or engage in conduct that harms other users or the Service. We will endeavour to give advance notice where possible.
Effect of termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union where applicable.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved by good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Riga, Latvia.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
